Mean Well has been manufacturing industrial power supplies for over thirty years, and the KNX-20E-640 is engineered to provide a reliable and safe solution for the KNX bus environment. Boasting high efficiency in a compact footprint, this EIB/KNX power supply is only 3SU (52.5mm) wide, has an integrated KNX bus choke output and an additional output for ancillary power. Thanks to a wide temperature operating range of -30degC to +70degC, it is suitable for use in multiple applications, including intelligent home control, building automation, lighting control, HVAC systems, security systems, automatic blinds and shutters, monitoring systems, energy management, and alarm monitoring.
Additional features of the Mean Well KNX-20E-640 640mA power supply include safety extra low voltage (SELV) and 180VAC – 264VAC input. No load power consumption is <0.5W and the device meets IEC isolation protection class I. Short circuit/overload (short-circuit proof)/over voltage protection is built in, with LED indicators clearing showing if the device is operating normally or in overload conditions or in bus reset mode. Cooling is by free air circulation. The Mean Well KNX-20E-640 640mA power supply can be installed on a TS-35/7.5 or 15 DIN rail.
