The Best Rugged Computer for Portable Surveillance Application

Introduction

One of our customers specializes in the design and manufacture of surveillance equipment for traffic management, construction, mining, events, and more. Customer’s Demand

The portable surveillance system required a powerful embedded computer that can turn any IP camera into an intelligent one and provided the ability to process advanced video analytics at the edge. This embedded computer must withstand wide temperature ranges, shock and vibration, and other conditions that could compromise the surveillance video or the equipment itself. Moreover, additional mini PCIe expansion slots and hot-swappable HDDs with RAID technology were necessary for wireless communications and data reliability.
