Energetiq, a subsidiary of Hamamatsu, manufactures advanced light sources used in complex scientific and engineering applications. For applications which require illumination of nanoscale areas, Energetiq’s EQ-99XFC LDLS is a high brightness source with a broad wavelength range from UV to Visible and into the NIR region. The characteristic broadband output is efficiently coupled into small diameter optical fibers for ease of integration into a variety of optical systems. The unique principle behind the operation of an LDLS provides extremely bright, spatially and spectrally stable broadband radiation from 170 nm to 2400 nm with a lifetime greater than 9,000 hours.
