Game-changing Storage Products and Technologies from Apacer On Display During COMPUTEX 2023
This year, it’s Apacer’s turn to Drive the Change. During COMPUTEX 2023 in Taipei, Apacer will reveal a diverse array of industry-changing innovations. The VIP Reveals event will be held at the Splendor Ballroom on the third floor of the Grande Luxe Banquet, and will offer an exclusive glimpse into the future of SSDs and DRAM modules. Industrial-grade, professional-grade and consumer-grade products will all be on display.
In the industrial field, Apacer is proud to introduce the world’s first fully lead-free DDR5 modules, which are certain to catch the eye of ESG-focused manufacturers. The company will also be unveiling the first VLP DDR5 module available for industrial applications, as well as a DDR5 module with a data rate of 5,600 MT/s. This last product is ideal for use in AI, servers or other applications that demand extremely high performance. Apacer’s proprietary technologies CoreRescue and CoreSnapshot 2 are also now available. CoreSnapshot 2 allows for a crashed network to be restored to operation in seconds. It pairs well with CoreRescue, which can carry out the restoration process automatically via Auto Self Recovery, or via USB Self Recovery when a USB drive is inserted into a port. Downtime and maintenance costs will be kept to a minimum even in the event of a disaster.
Other industrial-grade products on display include high-capacity enterprise SSDs, including those in the U.2 form factor with capacities up to 16TB. There’s also Apacer’s FIPS 140-2 Level 2 certified TCG SSD SV240 series, and brand-new write once/read many (WORM) drives and cards for AIoT applications and other cases where excellent reliability and security are paramount.
Videographers and professional photographers won’t feel ignored at this show, either. Apacer’s latest total solutions for high-end image processing include a NAS SSD. This 4TB drive has a PCIe Gen4 x4 interface for lightning-fast transfers. There’s also Apacer’s 8K RAW CF Express Type B card, which features up to 640GB of storage – the highest in its class in the world. With read speeds of 1,700MB/s and write speeds of 1,500MB/s, it can handle whatever cinematographers throw at it.
There’s excellent news for gamers too. Apacer’s AS2280F4 SSD with a PCIe Gen5 x4 interface features read-write speeds of 12,000/11,800 MB/s. It really takes games to a whole new level.
