A typical design review consists of a circuit analysis, looking at the performance of the circuit with respect to the load conditions and operating environment, examination of the Bill of Materials (BOM) for known issues with certain types of components and derating to assure that the design has adequate margin. The analysis addresses the circuit board layout both from a voltage/current perspective but also from a manufacturability perspective. The Design for Manufacturability element of the review looks at the PCB surface finish, pad geometries, trace separation, component placement, process flow, and cleanliness and contamination.
This webinar will address these different assessments to demonstrate how design reviews can provide significant benefit to you the customer.
