Sustainability by Refurbishment
All components used in the FT Touch Computers are premium quality. All the electronics will last 5 to 10 years, and the cabinet will last for more than 20 years. For this reason, we have introduced our refurbish program meaning returned inner plates with defects can be renewed or upgraded, keeping metal parts and other vital parts running for years.
The most vulnerable part on the terminal is the touch screen and its protective film. In the refurbish process we exchange the touch and the film. We clean the metal giving new life to the terminals without exchanging more parts than necessary.
We recycle all parts possible, and thereby having less waste objects to be thrown out. Old mechanical parts will be washed, cleaned and sold as refurbished parts. This results in cost savings for our customers and protects the environment.
