- New Product – Mouser Now Shipping Microchip Technology’s ECC204 Secure Authentication IC, Offering Cryptographic Authentication with Hardware-based Key Storage
Mouser is now stocking the ECC204 secure authentication IC from Microchip Technology. The ECC204 secure authentication IC is a cryptographic authentication device with protected storage for private keys, certificates, symmetric keys, or user data. The hardware-based key storage solution supports a range of secure authentication applications, including ecosystem control, disposables and accessory authentication, symmetric authentication using HMAC keys, and disposable applications with select usage. The ECC204 IC offers a robust set of authentication solutions and provides hardware support for asymmetric authentication. The device also features a high-quality internal NIST SP 800-90A/B/C random number generator, supporting asymmetric key generation. The secure authentication IC features hardware support for SHA-256 and HMAC, while the device’s field-programmable electrically erasable, programmable read-only memory (EEPROM) includes a single ECC private key, single symmetric secret key, and 64-byte user memory. This device offers an extended industrial temperature range of -40℃ to +105℃. The ECC204 IC is supported by the EV27Y72A 3-Lead Contact mikroBUS™ socket board.

- New Product – Mouser Now Shipping Semtech’s LoRa® LR1121 Multi-Band Transceiver, Supporting Wide Range of Sensor and Radio Communications Applications
Mouser is now stocking the LoRa® LR1121 multi-band transceiver from Semtech. The LoRa LR1121 device is an ultra-low power, long-range transceiver offering support for terrestrial, industrial, scientific, and medical (ISM) band communications and S-Band support for satellite connectivity. This device supports any combination of LoRa, (G)FSK, and long-range FHSS (LR-FHSS) modulations. The transceiver complies with a broad range of radio standards, including ETSI EN 300 220, FCC CFR 47 Part 15, ARIB, and Chinese regulatory requirements. This device includes an integrated PA regulator supply selector, simplifying dual power +15/+22 dBm with a single board implementation (sub-GHz). The transceiver is fully compatible with LoRa Connect SX1261/2/8 devices and the LoRaWAN® protocol defined by the LoRa Alliance®. This device is ideal for applications requiring compliance with radio standards, including smart meters, asset tracking applications, parking sensors, environmental sensors and home automation. The transceiver is supported by the LR1121DVK1TxKS development kits.

- New Product – Mouser Now Stocking NXP i.MX 8M Plus Processors with NPU for Edge Machine Learning
Mouser is now stocking the i.MX 8M Plus applications processors from NXP Semiconductors. These embedded multi-core heterogeneous applications processors are the first in the i.MX family to integrate a dedicated neural processing unit (NPU) for advanced machine learning inference at the edge in industrial and Internet of Things (IoT) applications. These devices integrate two or four Arm® Cortex®-A53 cores running at up to 1.8 GHz, plus an 800 MHz Arm Cortex-M7 core for low-power real-time processing. Using the integrated NPU, the i.MX 8M Plus processor simultaneously detects multiple highly complex neural network functions, including human pose and emotion detection, multi-object surveillance, and the recognition of over 40,000 English words. The i.MX 8M Plus devices feature a high-performance 800 MHz audio digital signal processor (DSP) for voice and natural language processing. These devices are ideal for applications such as surveillance, smart retail applications, robot vision, home health monitors, smart home, smart city, building control, and industrial IoT.
