- New Customer Service Centre – Mouser Opens New Customer Service Centre in Lithuania to Support Electronics Design Innovation
Mouser has announced the opening of a new European Customer Service Centre in Lithuania. Situated within the capital city of Vilnius, this new centre will support increasing design activity driven by the area’s growing tech ecosystem, as well as its established industries. Its new Customer Service Centre in Lithuania will have a team of members onsite to personally assist with orders and respond to customer calls, all in local language, time zone, and currency. The Lithuania centre is Mouser’s 11th office in the EMEA region. Mouser’s business across Europe continues to grow significantly, with its European business surging by 30 percent in 2022. Lithuania has the largest economy in the Baltic region and the bustling capital city of Vilnius was named one of the top 25 global cities of the future in 2021 by the foreign investment company FDI Intelligence. Vilnius is home to a new $110 million development by Tech Zity for a 55,000 square-metre tech campus, which will be the largest tech centre in all of Europe. Mouser is now stocking the 60 Series system-on-module (SOM) from Laird Connectivity. The 60 Series SOM offers a low power and compact device that can be the host SOM or a wireless communications subsystem and is easily integrated using various electronic and logical interfaces. The SOM delivers full enterprise-class Wi-Fi® connectivity, including WPA3-Enterprise 192-bit, FIPS 140-3 Level 1 validated Wi-Fi data-in-transit, and an integrated TCP/IP stack. The 60 Series SOM is equipped with an Arm® Cortex®-A5 applications processor operating at up to 536 MHz. The product boasts enterprise-grade security, LCD support, excellent wireless connectivity in harsh RF environments, and a comprehensive Linux board support package (BSP). Furthermore, this product is supported by the 60 Series SOM development boards. Designed to evaluate the 60 Series SOM product family, these development boards offer four different options featuring varying levels of LPDDR2 RAM and NAND Flash. The 60 Series SOM is ideal for a range of applications, including smart cities and smart agriculture, Internet of Things (IoT) solutions, industrial sensors, asset tracking, wearables, and medical devices.

- New Product – Mouser Now Stocking Littelfuse 59143 Miniature Flange Mount Sensors, Enabling Proximity-Sensing Applications
Mouser is now stocking the 59143 miniature flange mount sensors from Littelfuse. The 59143 miniature flange mount sensors offer normally open contacts in a 23.00 mm x 14.00 mm x 6.00 mm package. The devices offer a non-contact switching solution for wet and harsh environments and are available in select sensitivities to adjust to different operating distances. The 59143 sensors are hermetically sealed, IP67 rated, and UL and REACH compliant. The 59143 series sensors are designed to work with the matching 57143-000 actuator. With no leakage current in their “open’” state, these sensors are ideal for battery-powered Internet of Things (IoT) applications. Further applications include security and access control, factory automation, process equipment, appliances, and proximity and limit sensing.

- New Product – Mouser Now Shipping Teseo-LIV4F GNSS Dual-Band Module from STMicroelectronics, Offering Sub-Meter Positioning Accuracy
Mouser is shipping the Teseo-LIV4F GNSS dual-band module from STMicroelectronics. The Teseo-LIV4F is a tiny, standalone, low-power, global navigation satellite system (GNSS) module with sub-meter positioning accuracy for embedded geolocation applications like fleet management, insurance black-boxes, asset tracking, drones, anti-theft systems, people and pet location, vehicle tracking, public transportation and more. This device leverages ST’s Teseo IV single-die receiver technology, including L1 and L5 band support, for improved positioning accuracy (-162-dBm tracking sensitivity) and extended multi-constellation compatibility (GPS/Galileo/Glonass/BeiDou/QZSS). This module pairs an onboard temperature-compensated crystal oscillator (TCXO) with a dedicated real-time clock (RTC) oscillator to support real-time assisted GNSS for improved time-to-first fix (TTFF). Operating with 49 mA GNSS L1 and L5 tracking current and 10 μA standby current extends battery runtime in power-conscious applications. The Teseo-LIV4F module is certified per CE, FCC and ICES regulations, simplifying development and speeding the path to market. The operating temperature range from -40°C to +85°C permits use in harsh environments such as factories and outdoors. The STMicroelectronics Teseo-LIV4F Tiny GNSS dual-band module is supported by the EVB-LIV4F evaluation board and is available to order from Mouser.
