Mouser announces a new global distribution agreement with Ambiq, a leading supplier of low-powered, AI-enabled microcontrollers for wearables, hearables, IoT, edge devices and mobile edge computing applications. The Ambiq products now available from Mouser include the Ambiq Apollo4 Blue Lite system-on-chip (SoC). This product features a 32-bit Arm® Cortex®-M4 core with a Floating-Point Unit, along with a Bluetooth® Low Energy 5.1 radio with robust RF connectivity and is ideal for use in battery-powered endpoint devices. The Ambiq Apollo4 Blue Lite evaluation board offers a complete demonstration and development platform for the Apollo4 Blue Lite device. Mouser also offers the Apollo3 Blue Plus SoC which is a device based on Ambiq’s Voice-on-SPOT (VoS) platform, making it the perfect microprocessor for enabling always-on voice assistant integration and command. The Apollo3 Blue Plus evaluation board enables quick and easy prototyping of the SoC. The Apollo3 Blue Plus Voice-on-SPOT kit facilitates demos, evaluation, and the development of ultra-low power audio and voice capabilities on the Apollo3 Blue Plus SoC. - New Product – Mouser Now Stocking AMD Xilinx Kria KD240 Drives Starter Kit for Industrial Automation, Medical, EV and Robotics Applications
Mouser is now shipping the Kria™ KD240 drives starter kit from AMD Xilinx. This starter kit is a low-cost FPGA-based motor-control and digital signal processing evaluation platform for Kria™ K24 system-on-modules (SOMs). It consists of a non-production version of the K24 SOM, a carrier card, and a passive heat sink. The SOM is very compact and only includes critical components. The carrier card includes a power solution, three Ethernet interfaces, a CAN interface, a microSD card, a three-phase power inverter, and multiple analogue-to-digital converter channels. Terminal blocks are provided for connecting a torque sensor, a three-phase motor, and a brake control, along with single-ended and differential QEI connectors. The pre-built interfaces and accelerated applications make the KD240 an ideal platform to accelerate DSP innovation and allow developers to take their ideas to volume production deployment with commercial and industrial-grade Kria K24 SOMs. This starter kit offers control system architects and embedded software developers a quick, out-of-box experience for accelerated development in robotics, drives and actuators, industrial automation and motors, Ethernet gateways and sensors, EV charging stations, medical equipment, and aerial system applications.

The FD reflective-type fibre optic sensor boasts tough, high-quality fibre, reducing the risk of breaking and bending during installation.

- New Product – Mouser Now Shipping u-blox NEO-F9P High-Precision GNSS Module for Precise Nav/Positioning in UAVs and Mobile Robotics
Mouser is now stocking the NEO-F9P high-precision GNSS module from u-blox. The NEO-F9P is a multi-band GNSS positioning module that caters to high-volume industrial applications in a compact form factor 50 percent smaller than the standard u-blox ZED footprint. This surface-mounted module enables reliable and precise navigation and automation of moving industrial machinery while providing easy integration, lower design costs, smaller EBOM and faster time-to-market. This product features simultaneous reception of GPS/QZSS, Galileo, GLONASS and BeiDou. It is a multi-band device with L1/L5 Real Time Kinematics (RTK) that takes in standard GPS signals and a correction stream to achieve centimetre-level positional accuracy in seconds while delivering short convergence times (< 10 sec) and reliable, energy-efficient performance. The module supports both active and passive antennas and is ideally paired with the ANN-MB1 multi-band antenna. Ideal for space-constrained designs, target industrial applications for this module include precise navigation and automation in a wide range of smart antennas, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) and mobile robotic devices. For development, this module is supported by the u-blox EVK-F9P-00 evaluation kit, which is also available from Mouser.
