Through this agreement, Mouser is now stocking Morse Micro’s long-range, ultra-low-power Wi-Fi HaLow modules and development platforms. Morse Micro’s comprehensive portfolio includes the industry’s smallest, fastest and lowest power Wi-Fi HaLow SoCs and modules, providing 10x the range, 100x the coverage area and 1000x the volume of traditional Wi-Fi solutions. Designed specifically for the Internet of Things (IoT), Wi-Fi HaLow operates in the sub-GHz frequency band, offering an optimal combination of extended range, power efficiency, long battery life, superior penetration of barriers, large network capacity, and advanced security.   • New Product – Mouser Now Shipping onsemi’s CEM102 Analog Front End, Providing Low-Current Sensing for Continuous Glucose Monitoring

Mouser is now stocking the CEM102 analog front end (AFE) from onsemi. The CEM102 sensor accurately measures very low currents for continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) and other sensitive tasks. The CEM102 is designed for use with the onsemi RSL15 Bluetooth® 5.2 wireless microcontroller. The CEM102 AFE features a small form factor and low power consumption, making it an ideal choice for compact devices requiring extended battery life. The CEM102 features a high-resolution analogue-to-digital converter (ADC), multiple digital-to-analogue converters (DAC) for bias setting, and a factory-trimmed system. Together, the CEM102 and RSL15 MCU provide very low system power consumption and a supply voltage range of 1.3 V to 3.6 V; the system can be powered by a 1.5 V silver oxide battery or a 3 V coin cell. The CEM102 supports one, two, three or four electrodes, providing detection for abnormal sensor conditions with host processor wake-up. This AFE is developed for electrochemical sensor applications using amperometric measurements, including Internet of Things (IoT) sensor devices and wearables.

  • New Product – Mouser Now Stocking the Hybrid RISC-V and FPGA BeagleBoard BeagleV-Fire SBC for IoT, AI and Embedded Control Applications

Mouser is now stocking the BeagleV®-Fire single-board computer (SBC) from BeagleBoard.org. This groundbreaking Linux-compatible, open-source SBC provides a performance-robust RISC-V instruction set architecture (ISA), FPGA customisation and packs a comprehensive array of connectivity options and versatile I/O interfaces – all in a compact form factor at a very affordable price. The BeagleV®-Fire SBC is driven by Microchip Technology’s PolarFire® MPFS025T FPGA system-on-chip (SoC) that combines the power and speed of five RISC-V 64-bit cores (four 64-bit RV64GC application cores and one 64-bit RV64IMAC monitor/boot core) with the flexibility of an FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array). This SBC provides ample storage with 16GB of Kingston eMMC, 2GB of LPDDR4 RAM and a microSD card socket. Other on-board features include a 1 Gb Ethernet connection along with power input via its dual-role USB Type-C™ (480Mbps) connector and terminal block, an M.2 E-Key PCIe connector for support of 2.4 GHz/5 GHz Wi-Fi® modules, SDIO, a 6-pin, 3.3V UART, a 22-pin CSI camera connector, serial debug ports and JTAG support. The board’s BeagleBone compatible 92-pin, P8 and P9 cape header pins provide additional add-on expansion and offer digital I/O pins, PWM, analogue, I2C, SPI and UART interfaces.
