  • New Product – Mouser Now Shipping Texas Instruments’ TX75E16 Transmitter for Ultrasound Imaging Systems and Marine Navigation

Mouser is now stocking the TX75E16 16-channel five-level transmitter from Texas Instruments. Designed for ultrasound imaging systems, the TX75E16 integrates on-chip floating power supplies to reduce the required number of high-voltage power supplies. This 16-channel transmitter features a pulser circuit that generates five-level high-voltage pulses (up to ±100V) that excite multiple channels of an ultrasound transducer. The TX75E16 transmitter supports a total of 16 outputs and offers a maximum output current of 2A. The TX75E16 integrates all the decoupling capacitors required for the floating supplies and internal bias voltages, which significantly reduces the required number of external capacitors. The device, specified for operation from 0°C to 70°C, is available in a 10 mm × 10 mm 144-pin FC-BGA package (ALH package). The on-chip beamformer enables long-duration patterns for Shear Wave imaging. To protect the device from damage due to improper configuration, an internal error flag register can detect faulty conditions and configure the device in shutdown mode automatically. The TX75E16 is a highly integrated, high-performance transmitter ideal for a range of applications, including non-destructive testing, SONAR, LIDAR, and marine navigation systems.

  • New Webinar – Mouser and Molex Present Webinar on the Advantages of RF Custom Cables

Mouser has teamed up with Molex to offer the engineering community a new webinar called “Wired for Success: Advantages of RF Custom Cables over OTS and DIY”. The free webinar will take place on Tuesday 7th May at 16:00 CET. In the ever-evolving technology landscape, achieving seamless connectivity is paramount. For wired connectivity, the debate between Off-The-Shelf (OTS) cable assemblies, building from scratch, and leveraging custom solutions often leaves professionals grappling with trade-offs. Custom cables are engineered to meet specific challenges and applications. They can deliver many advantages over standard cables, including electrical performance, increased efficiency, and decreased installation complexity, often making them the preferred choice in many industrial sectors, including telecommunications, robotics, medical, military and defence. By attending this webinar, participants will learn more about cable assembly options and considerations, navigating challenges in the cable design process and Molex’s online design tools which make it easy to design a custom cable assembly for optimal performance. Featured products and tools that can support in solving custom cable challenges include: the RF Assembly Builder, the RF Cable Assemblies, the Cable Assemblies and Wire Harnesses and the Custom Cable Creator. The webinar will be hosted by Hassan Kamel, Technical Marketing Engineer, Mouser Electronics, and will feature Roger Kauffman, Sr. Director of Product Management and Marketing for Molex, as a guest speaker.
