Mouser is now stocking the Nitrogen8M Mini SMARC from Ezurio (formerly Laird Connectivity). As part of the company’s comprehensive system-on-module (SOM) portfolio, the Nitrogen8M Mini SMARC® conforms to the SMARC® 2.1.1 industry standard, offering global certification, a standard form factor, multiple software options, a proven security architecture, accelerated video/audio, long-term software support and security fixes. This powerful and customisable solution enables heterogeneous multiprocessing, offers numerous interfaces and presents a smooth migration path to future long-term support and design-ins using the latest processors and wireless options as new Ezurio SMARC® SOMs are released. This Nitrogen8M Mini SMARC is a robust SOM powered by NXP’s first-in-class i.MX 8M Mini applications processor, with optional Sona™ Wi-Fi 6/6E and Bluetooth® 5.3/5.4 wireless modules based on leading Infineon and NXP solutions, and the NXP PF8121 power management IC. The Nitrogen8M Mini SMARC is available in a SMARC 2.1.1 standard form factor of 82 mm x 50 mm and is offered in multiple high-performance memory options. Software support for the Nitrogen8M Mini SMARC includes Yocto Linux, Buildroot Linux, Android, Ubuntu, Zephyr RTOS and FreeRTOS. The SOM is specified at an industrial temperature range of -40°C to +85°C (commercial range of 0°C to +70°C), has a 10+ year product lifecycle, and is ideally suited for smart buildings and appliances, industrial IoT (IIoT), HMI, touchscreens and displays, vision systems, food and beverage and medical devices.

- New Product – Mouser Now Shipping Qorvo QPF4659 Wi-Fi 7 High-Power Front-End Module for IoT Applications
Mouser is now stocking the QPF4659, a 6 GHz Wi-Fi® 7 high-power front-end module (FEM) from Qorvo. The QPF4659 FEM is designed for Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) systems requiring a compact form factor with integrated matching for smart homes, customer premises equipment, wireless router and Internet of Things (IoT) applications. The QPF4659 Wi-Fi 7 FEM offers compatibility with Matter™, a new connectivity standard for IoT devices. The QPF4659 offers constant slope voltage logarithmic power detection for application feedback and integrated die-level filtering for improved harmonics, as well as 2.4 GHz rejection for database/data communications (DBDC) operation. The QPF4659 also incorporates a 6 GHz power amplifier (PA), a single pole two-throw switch (SP2T), and a by-passable low-noise amplifier (LNA) into a single device. This Wi-Fi 7 FEM is well-suited for wireless access points, wireless routers, set-top boxes and customer premise equipment. The performance of this device is focused on optimising the integrated power amplifier for a 5 V supply voltage. This design reduces power consumption while maintaining the highest linear output power and leading-edge throughput across a wide bandwidth (5.9 to 7.1 GHz). The QPF4659 is supported by the QPF4659EVB evaluation board, also available from Mouser.
