  • New Product – Mouser Now Stocking TE Connectivity / Measurement Specialties MS5849 Pressure Sensor, Offering Long-Term Stability for Liquid Measurement Applications

Mouser is now shipping the MS5849 board mount pressure sensor from TE Connectivity / Measurement Specialties. Designed to deliver precise digital 24-bit pressure and temperature values, the MS5849 pressure sensor features multiple operation modes that allow the user to optimise for conversion speed and current consumption. The TE MS5849 is an ultra-compact, chlorine-resistant, high-resolution pressure sensor with an SPI/I2C bus interface. The new generation of sensors, based on leading MEMS technology, was developed using TE Connectivity’s proven experience in high-volume manufacturing of pressure sensors, which have been widely used for over three decades. The MS5849 pressure sensor’s compact dimensions and low power consumption enable easy integration into user applications. The MS5849 can be interfaced with virtually any microcontroller. This pressure sensor features a 1.5 V to 3.6 V operating supply voltage range, fast conversion down to 0.37ms, low power down to 0.34µA, and a 100nf VDD capacitor. The pressure sensor also features an operating pressure range of 300 mbar to 30000 mbar and an operating temperature range of -40°C to 110°C. The MS5849 provides excellent long-term stability for a range of applications, including safety devices in seawater, medical portable devices, disposable drug treatment, and liquid measurement.

Mouser stocks the latest Semtech (Sierra Wireless) wireless products, including the EM embedded modules, RC76x industrial embedded cellular modules, the HL7810 and HL7812 scalable LPWA industrial IoT modules and the WP76x industrial cellular modules. The EM modules deliver high-speed connectivity, bandwidth, and network performance and are available in region-specific and function-specific variants. The RC76x industrial embedded cellular modules are small, scalable solutions in a compact and easy-to-integrate form factor that are entirely interchangeable among 2G, 3G, and 4G technologies. The HL7810 and HL7812 scalable LPWA industrial IoT modules are designed to enable low power devices and offer very low current consumption while in a hibernate state supporting eDRX and PSM modes. The WP76x industrial cellular modules offer low-power cellular voice and data LTE connectivity in a single, fully integrated solution.

The Kria K24 SOM is the newest addition to the Kria™ SOM portfolio, available in both commercial and industrial-grade variants. With 132 I/Os available to users, it can connect up to three medium-sized BLDC motors with encoders and provides TSN-enabled networking through four 1G Ethernet interfaces (2x PS GEM, 2x PL GEM). The resulting platform is highly scalable with many possible end applications and is expandable for evolving system requirements. It also offers enhanced security features through the Zynq UltraScale+ MPSoC’s hardware root of trust and a discrete TPM 2.0 device. The K24 SOM also provides flexibility in hardware and software compatibility for future standards and sensor needs, like connector compatibility, to simplify customisation without PCB modifications. This 10-in-1 antenna combines one dual-band GNSS L1/L5 antenna, four high-efficiency 5G/4G wideband cellular antennas, and five tri-band Wi-Fi antennas into a single unit. The antenna’s 600MHz to 6000MHz frequency range ensures enhanced connectivity across a variety of applications. The antenna features an operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C and is dust-tight and water-resistant, making it a suitable choice for use in harsh environments. The MA8010 antenna is smaller than the market standard for 10-connection products, measuring just 350mm × 70mm × 39mm. The small form factor means the MA8010 can be mounted on vehicle roofs and used on various NEMA cabinets. Custom cables and connectors are available for flexible installation and increased compatibility.
