  • New Product – Mouser Now Stocking Texas Instruments CC1354P10 SimpleLink Wireless Microcontroller, Enabling Reliable Long-Range Wireless Communication

Mouser is now shipping the CC1354P10 SimpleLink wireless microcontroller (MCU) from Texas Instruments. The CC1354P10 device, optimised for low-power wireless communications, features on-chip over-the-air update capabilities and advanced security features. The CC1354P10 is a multiprotocol and multi-band Sub-1 GHz and 2.4 GHz wireless microcontroller. The CC1354P10 device includes wireless protocol support for Thread, Zigbee®, Bluetooth® 5.3 Low Energy, IEEE 802.15.4, IPv6-enabled smart objects, and proprietary systems. This MCU also supports Matter, an industry-unifying, IP-based connectivity protocol that streamlines the development of IoT applications while allowing seamless integration into a variety of ecosystems for smart homes, industrial automation, consumer electronics, smart agriculture, healthcare, and more. The CC1354P10 device is part of the SimpleLink platform, which consists of Wi-Fi, Bluetooth Low Energy, Thread, Zigbee, Sub-1 GHz MCUs, and host MCUs that share a single-core software development kit (SDK) and rich tool set. A one-time integration of the SimpleLink platform allows users to add any combination of the portfolio’s devices into a design, allowing 100 percent code reuse when design requirements change. This MCU enables long-range and reliable communication in a range of applications, including building security systems, smart meters, HVAC, medical, wired networking, portable electronics, home entertainment, and connected peripherals.

  • Product Highlights – Mouser Offers Wide Range of MEAN WELL Power Solutions

Mouser is an authorised global distributor of solutions from MEAN WELL, a leading global standard power supply manufacturer. Products available from Mouser include the LOP-200 and LOP-300 PCB-type power supplies, which feature a low profile, a comprehensive 12 to 54V voltage range, and power of up to 200 or 300 watts, respectively. The LOP-400, LOP-500, and LOP-600 offer the same voltage range and power of 600, 750 or 900 watts. These power supplies are suitable for a broad range of applications, including factory automation, medical devices, telecommunications equipment and household devices. The NGE series are wall-mounted interchangeable AC adapters with global certifications. These adapters offer power ratings of 12W, 18W, 30W, 45W, 65W, and 90W and are available with five types of interchangeable AC plugs (including, European and UK), making them ideal for travel use. Multiple protections are featured in these adapters, including short circuit, overload, and overvoltage. The DDRH-120 and DDRH-240 DIN-rail DC/DC converters offer superior EMC performance, high altitude 5000M operation, and compliance with the IEC/EN 62109-1 PV safety standard. The XLN and XLC series LED power supplies, designed for general indoor lighting and commercial luminaires, feature a rugged plastic housing. These LED power supplies are available in 25W, 40W, and 60W power ratings. The entire series has complete international certification and full-range voltage input (UIL8750 class 2/class P).

  • New Product – Mouser Now Shipping the New u-blox XPLR-IOT-1 Explorer Kit for IoT Applications

Mouser is now stocking the XPLR-IOT-1 Explorer kit from u-blox. The XPLR-IOT-1 provides a complete platform for developing proof-of-concept IoT applications for sensor networks, environmental control, medical devices, smart appliances and lighting applications. The XPLR-IOT-1 includes an embedded SIM with u-blox MQTT Anywhere and MQTT Now trial accounts to enable connection to the Thingstream IoT service delivery platform. With a few initial manual steps, the kit can publish data to the cloud and demonstrate a complete end-to-end solution. The XPLR-IOT-1 features a dual-core Arm® Cortex®-M33 application microcontroller with up to 128/64 MHz clock frequency, 512 + 64 kB RAM plus 1024 + 256 kB flash, with support for Wi-Fi®, Bluetooth®, and LTE-M/NB-IoT cellular communication for cellular networks in many countries across the globe. A dedicated low-power GNSS receiver provides accurate positioning data, while alternatively, the user can leverage the available nano SIM slot to connect with a network operator of choice. This explorer kit uses the MQTT-SN protocol for power and data-efficient communication to the Thingstream platform, or if Wi-Fi is preferred, the built-in Wi-Fi module and the u-blox MQTT Now service offer an alternate route to the cloud. The device is controlled by the Nordic Semiconductor nRF5340 wireless system-on-chip (SoC) in the NORA-B1 wireless MCU module.
