  • New Product – Mouser Now Stocking Ezurio Sona MT320 Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4 Module for Next-Generation Industrial IoT Applications

Mouser is now shipping the new Sona™ MT320 Wi-Fi® 6 and Bluetooth® 5.4 modules from Ezurio. The Sona MT320 is a small, robust, industrial-grade IoT connectivity module that’s rugged and feature-rich, with globally certified Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) and dual-mode Bluetooth for easy integration. The Sona MT320 is the first industrial-grade Wi-Fi/BT module purpose-built with the MediaTek Filogic 320 Wi-Fi 6 chipset (MT7921) to work seamlessly with the MediaTek Genio™ family of processors and industrial IoT products. The MT320 combines an integrated power amplifier (PA) and low noise amplifier (LNA) with a 2×2 multi-user MIMO (multiple input/output) antenna for reliable connectivity in harsh temperatures and RF environments. The MT320 also features the latest generation personal and enterprise security standards (WPA2/3) with an SDIO host interface for both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth in a pluggable card and SMT M.2 packaging that’s perfect for demanding “solder-down” industrial applications. These modules provide next-gen wireless performance for industrial IoT (IIoT) connectivity, smart signage, retail point-of-sale (POS), handheld devices, and other Wi-Fi 6-based applications.

  • New Product – Mouser Now Shipping the Multi-Standard Qorvo QPG6105 Smart Home Communications Controller for IoT Applications

Mouser is now stocking the QPG6105 smart home communications controller from Qorvo. Incorporating a single 2.4 GHz ISM-band radio, this multi-standard (multi-stack and multi-channel listening) system-on-a-chip (SoC) controller delivers superior RF performance, bridging all the leading low-power standard communication protocols, including Zigbee®, Thread, Matter™, Bluetooth® Low Energy (BLE) and Bluetooth Mesh. The QPG6105 is engineered using Qorvo’s hardware-based ConcurrentConnect™ technology, which enables faster communications, increases network capacity, helps create future-proof connected devices and improves scalability in IoT and connected home-based applications. This technology allows multi-channel capability, with up to three Personal Area Networks (PANs) operating on different channels, delivering enhanced interoperability with the leading low-power standards. Partnered with the radio functionality, the QPG6105 is driven by an integrated Arm® Cortex®-M4 processor with up to 64 MHz clock speed and DSP functionality. This integrated microcontroller features an 8-channel DMA engine, 128 Kb of low leakage retention RAM, 1 MB flash program memory and patchable ROM for flash offload to help reduce the overall flash memory footprint. On-chip enhanced security features include built-in support for secure boot, secure OTA software upgrade and secure identity, and power management functionality, including integrated regulators and data and state retention in all standby modes. Ideal applications include Internet of Things (IoT) and smart home.

  • New Product – Mouser Now Offering New Infineon Technologies CoolSiC G2 MOSFETs for Energy Conversion Applications

Mouser is now shipping the CoolSiC™ G2 MOSFETs from Infineon Technologies. The CoolSiC™ G2 MOSFET series is the next generation of silicon carbide technology, opening a new chapter in power systems and energy conversion in (SiC) MOSFET trench technology for photovoltaic inverters, energy storage systems, EV charging, power supplies and motor drive applications. The CoolSiC™ G2 MOSFETs offer the highest quality standards in all common power scheme combinations (AC-DC, DC-DC, and DC-AC) and further advance Infineon’s unique XT interconnection technology (e.g., in discrete housings TO-263-7, TO-247-4) to improve semiconductor chip performance and thermal capability. Both the CoolSiC™ G2 MOSFET 650 V and 1200 V improve MOSFET key performance for stored energy and charging by up to 20 percent without compromising quality or reliability while improving overall energy efficiency and decarbonisation. The CoolSiC™ G2’s new generation of SiC technology offers accelerated design of more cost-optimised, compact, reliable, and highly efficient systems, with energy harvesting savings and reduced CO2 for every watt in the field.
