Mouser is now stocking the VK-RA8M1 voice kit for RA8M1 from Renesas Electronics. With the VK-RA8M1 voice kit, developers can build systems with a simple voice command interface without extensive coding experience, in-house expertise, or a network connection. The VK-RA8M1 voice kit offers a scalable, easy-to-use hardware platform for Voice User Interface (VUI) solutions based on the RA8M1 family of 32-bit microcontrollers. The voice kit supports real-time control and multi-language commands, essential for applications such as smart speakers. Multiple analogue and digital microphones ensure highly accurate voice recognition with improved sound capture and reduced noise. This voice kit can perform all voice recognition processes offline, mitigating engineers’ concerns about privacy and latency associated with using the cloud. The VK-RA8M1 includes cloud-based Natural Language Understanding (NLU) development tools from Renesas-ready ecosystem partner Cyberon. The kit supports over 44 languages and includes a voice anti-spoofing application example. The voice kit addresses the demand for voice recognition in home automation, industrial automation, consumer electronics, healthcare applications, and more.

- New Product – Mouser Now Offering TE Connectivity HPC 200A Connectors, Enabling Energy Storage Applications
Mouser is now shipping the new HPC 200A connectors from TE Connectivity. These connectors provide a reliable and safe solution with a one-pole 200A/1500V high current connector. The HPC 200A connectors feature one-piece molding contacts that provide temperature rise control capability to provide a safe and reliable solution in a one-pole 200 amp, 1500 volt high-current connector. These connectors integrate an optional high-performance temperature sensor to enable 24-hour system safety monitoring, as well as a smart locking system with a 180° in-line design that provides 360° rotation and twelve angles of 30° locking. The “Finger-Proof” feature prevents error finger touch for safe operations in the field. Quick lock and press-to-release functions enable convenient and fast assembly of large-volume connectors on site. Ideal applications include battery energy storage systems (BESS), solar arrays, wind, hydropower, and other alternative energy system applications.

- New Product – Mouser Now Shipping Texas Instruments DLP2021-Q1 DLP Digital Micromirror Device for Automotive and EV Applications
Mouser is now stocking the new DLP2021-Q1 automotive 0.2″ DLP® digital micromirror device (DMD) from Texas Instruments. The DLP2021-Q1 is designed for automotive exterior light control and display applications that include ground projection in full colour with animated and dynamic content for automotive and EV applications. The DLP2021-Q1 DLP DMD is designed for automotive exterior light control and display applications with full colour and animated dynamic content. These tiny devices can be placed in many locations throughout the car, including inside the side mirror, door panel, taillight, front grill and more to facilitate vehicle-to-pedestrian (V2P) communication such as back-up, door-open, and other vehicle communication warning systems and vehicle personalisation options. Due to the device’s small form factor and low-power operation, projectors with the DLP2021-Q1 chipset can support many projection applications. The DLP2021-Q1 chipset can be coupled with LEDs or lasers to create highly saturated colours with over 125 percent of the National Television System Committee (NTSC) colour gamut. It can be used with either RGB or white illumination sources. A DLP2021-Q1 field-programmable gate array (FPGA) configuration is provided and is used to drive the DLP2021-Q1 automotive DMD. The DLP2021-Q1 is supported by the DLP2021LEWQ1EVM evaluation module, also available from Mouser.
