- New Distribution Agreement – Mouser and American Bright LED Join in Global Distribution Deal to Deliver Lighting Solutions
Mouser announces a new global distribution agreement with American Bright LED, a leading global supplier of LED components and integrated solutions. Mouser’s initial stock of American Bright products includes high-powered, tri-coloured, RGB + IC addressable and standard LEDs, as well as infrared LEDs and IP-rated light strips and rope lights. Products include the BB-HRGBx, BB-HBGRx, and BB-2020BGR-x tri-coloured LEDs, the AB-EZx SMD patented EzyLEDs, the BIR-HMx and BIR-HOx Infrared LEDs, the AB-FA, AB-FC, and AB-FD light strips and the AB-FB, AB-FF, and AB-FH rope lights. The BB-HRGBx, BB-HBGRx, and BB-2020BGR-x tri-coloured LEDs feature a 256-level colour set for a vibrant visual display and are offered in industry-standard package sizes. These LEDs are well suited for large LED displays, architectural lighting, decoration and entertainment lighting, and gaming machines. The AB-EZx SMD patented EzyLEDs are provided in an industry-standard 3030 package for easy integration into existing designs and are ideal for automotive, architectural, general, and landscape lighting applications. The BIR-HMx and BIR-HOx Infrared LEDs are well-suited for automatic control systems, smoke detectors, remote control applications, thermal imaging, touchless technology, security and surveillance. The AB-FA, AB-FC, and AB-FD light strips and AB-FB, AB-FF, and AB-FH rope lights are offered with IP20, IP65, and IP68 Ingress Protection (IP) ratings and are available in various lengths and colours. These products are designed to easily add light to any indoor or outdoor application.

- New Product – Mouser Now Shipping Insight SiP ISP3080 UWB Bluetooth LE Module for Real-Time Location Applications
Mouser is now stocking the new ISP3080 ultra-wideband (UWB) Bluetooth® Low Energy (BLE) module from Insight SiP. The ISP3080 is a highly miniaturised module that is a perfect stand-alone ranging solution for consumer, industrial and medical real-time location systems (RTLS), access control, and indoor positioning applications. The ISP3080 combines a Qorvo QM33110 UWB transceiver and a Nordic Semiconductor nRF52833 multi-protocol chip to create a 2.4 GHz wireless system on chip (SoC), integrating a 32-bit Arm® Cortex® M4 CPU, 512 kB flash memory and 128 kB RAM, together with BLE and dual-band (5 and 9) UWB antennas, to offer global coverage in a single device. Despite its small size, the module integrates decoupling capacitors, DC-DC converters, RF matching circuits and two antennas in addition to the wireless SoCs. Low power consumption and advanced power management enable battery lifetimes of up to several months on a single coin-cell battery. Mouser also offers the Insight ISP3080 development boards, which can be used as stand-alone PCBs or included in an evaluation kit.

- New Product – Mouser Now Stocking STMicroelectronics ST25R100 and ST25R200 NFC/HF RFID Readers for Read Plus Tag Applications
Mouser is now stocking the ST25R100 and ST25R200 NFC/HF RFID readers from STMicroelectronics. STMicroelectronics ST25R100 AND ST25R200 near field communication, high frequency (NFC/HF), radio identification (RFID) reader integrated circuits (ICs) deliver high-end performance in a compact package for reader plus tag solutions in consumer, medical and industrial battery-powered applications. These NFC/HF RFID readers come in a small 4mm x 4mm 24-pin TQFN package offering high dynamic power output for easy integration into applications with long-read range, small antennas and improved low-power card detection. The ST25R100 reader IC provides an entry-level option for cost-sensitive applications with a radio-controlled (RC) oscillator and a programmable timer to automatically scan for cards or other NFC-enabled devices while in wake-up (WU) mode. This IC is ideal for accessory recognition, automatic parameter setting, identification or access control. The ST25R200 reader IC adds extended features for medium to high-power applications like industrial IoT and gaming with integrated electromagnetic device (EMD) handling, active wave shaping (AWS) with overshoot or undershoot protection, and an RC oscillator with a programmable timer to scan for cards or other NFC-enabled devices while in WU mode.

- New Product – Mouser Delivers New Renesas RZ/G3S MPUs for IoT Edge, 5G, Smart Home, Smart Meter, and Asset Tracking Applications
Mouser is now stocking the new RZ/G3S microprocessors (MPUs) from Renesas Electronics. The RZ/G3S MPUs offer PCIe-supported 5G wireless connectivity and secure data transfer with variable low-power management for IoT edge, smart meters, smart home, and tracking device applications. These MPUs feature three Arm® Cortex® cores (1x Cortex-A55 CPU (1.1 GHz) and 2x Cortex-M33 CPUs (250 MHz) for real-time processing, a 16-bit LPDDR4/DDR4 interface and a built-in PCI Express interface that enables high-speed 5G wireless connectivity, with network communication options that support low-power mode. The RZ/G3S delivers power savings to the MPU through partitioned power domains, with enhanced security features like tamper detection in low-power mode operation. The Renesas RZ/G3S evaluation kit (RTK9845S33S01000BE), also available from Mouser, is designed in a SMARC form factor to evaluate the functionality of RZ/G3S devices. This compact system is assembled with a power-efficient RZ/G3S MPU, offering PCIe-supported 5G wireless connectivity and secure data transfer to IoT networks, with low power management for battery efficiency.
