  • New Product – Mouser Delivers u-blox IRIS-W10 Wi-Fi-6 Bluetooth Modules for Industrial, Smart Buildings and Medical Applications

Mouser is now shipping the IRIS-W10 modules from u-blox. These modules feature an NXP RW612 wireless microcontroller (MCU) with an integrated tri-radio that supports Wi-Fi® 6 technology, Bluetooth® Low Energy (BLE) 5.3, 802.15.4 low-rate wireless networks, Thread, open-standard Matter over Wi-Fi, and Ethernet connectivity. The IRIS-W10 is an ideal solution for securely connecting products in business and home ecosystems, incorporating both PCB and external antenna options. The open CPU configuration embeds an Arm® Cortex®-M33 MCU, clocked up to 260 MHz, with 1.2 MB SRAM and 8 MB or 16 MB flash. With several peripheral, the IRIS-W10 modules can operate completely stand-alone, hosting advanced software applications for many different use applications. These modules trim the PCB outline to 14.6mm x 16.8mm by housing the RF signal on a module pin for routing to an external antenna or antenna connector and operate with a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. These devices also feature global certification, greatly reducing project time and expense. These modules provide strong security and reliability, improved network efficiency, and low power consumption for industrial automation, smart homes and buildings, smart cities, medical and healthcare devices, telematics, and point-of-sales applications.   • New Product – Mouser Now Shipping ROHM TLR377GYZ CMOS Op Amp Optimised for Smartphones and Ultra-Compact IoT Devices

Mouser is now stocking the miniaturised TLR377GYZ CMOS operational amplifier (op amp) from ROHM Semiconductor. The TLR377GYZ op amp balances miniaturisation with high accuracy by leveraging ROHM’s proprietary circuit design, process and packaging technologies. The device offers a maximum offset voltage as low as 1 mV and an input equivalent noise voltage density as low as 12nV/√Hz. Furthermore, the TLR377GYZ op amp adopts a WLCSP (wafer-level chip scale package) with a ball pitch of just 0.3 mm utilising original packaging technology. This package design reduces size by approximately 69% compared to conventional products and 46% over existing compact products. The TLR377GYZ also features a built-in shutdown function, which limits the device’s operation to sensing-only periods. This feature significantly reduces standby current to a maximum of 1.5 µA. This device is optimised for amplifying signals from sensors such as temperature, pressure and flow rate, used in smartphones, small Internet of Things (IoT) devices and similar applications. The TLR377GYZ op amp is supported by the TLR377GYZ-EVK-001 evaluation board.

  • Distribution Agreement Expansion – Mouser Announces Expanded Global Distribution Agreement with JST for Commercial Connectors

Mouser announces an expanded global distribution agreement with JST Connectors to include its commercial connector line. JST Commercial is an industry leader in providing the highest quality of advanced electrical and electronic interconnection systems, including electrical connectors, cable assemblies, and jumper wires. With engineering and manufacturing strategically stationed across Europe, Asia, and the Americas, JST provides creative design solutions designed to solve customer problems with reliable, cost-effective products. Products available from Mouser include the KR insulation-displacement contact (IDC) connectors and the XSR IDC connectors. The KR IDC connectors are designed for wire-to-board connections and offer a mounted height as low as 6.9 mm and a thickness as thin as 4.8 mm. These connectors are suitable for a wide range of electronic applications, such as video and surveillance cameras, gaming consoles, and communication equipment. The XSR IDC connectors are wire-to-board connectors with a 0.60 mm pitch, making them some of the smallest IDC connectors available. These connectors are ideal for sensor and control applications in medical, monitor, wearables and audio devices.

  • New Product – Mouser Shipping New Sensirion STC31-C Thermal Conductivity Sensor for High Volume CO2 Measurement Applications

Mouser is now offering the STC31-C thermal conductivity sensor from Sensirion. The STC31-C is a chip-sized gas concentration sensor for high-range, accurate, high-volume production CO2 measurements for battery-operated and sensitive transportation applications. The STC31-C features a 16-bit resolution and is an ideal gas concentration sensor choice for applications requiring reliability, with a revolutionised thermal conductivity measurement process that delivers superior repeatability and long-term stability for high-quality, demanding, mass production and cost-sensitive OEM applications. The STC31-C sensor’s thermal conductivity technology is based on Sensirion’s patented CMOSens® technology, which combines the sensor element, signal processing and digital calibration on a small CMOS chip, with a digital I2C interface for direct connection to a microprocessor and ultimate performance with ultra-low power consumption for battery-operated applications. The STC31-C features a 2.7V to 5.5V supply voltage range and up to 5mA supply current rating. Mouser also stocks Sensirion’s SEK-STC31-C evaluation kit, which enables connection with the SEK-SensorBridge environmental sensing kit.

  • New Product – Mouser Now Offering Molex’s UltraWize Wire-to-Board Connectors, Providing High Power Density in Data Centre Applications

Mouser is now stocking UltraWize wire-to-board power connectors from Molex. The UltraWize power connectors are specifically designed for demanding data centre environments, delivering reliable, space-saving power distribution in servers (GPU), switches and other data centre applications. These connectors use COEUR socket technology with conical sockets to ensure a large conductive surface area. This design reduces voltage drop and contact resistance, minimising heat generation and allowing high-current capacity in data centres. UltraWize connectors deliver up to 170 amps of power while featuring a cable-side exit configuration that eliminates the cable-bend radius and reduces stack height. With a staggered-pin design, the connectors occupy less space on the PCB, leaving room for additional components. Molex’s UltraWize connectors reduce processing costs and accelerate time to market with SMT reflow-capable headers in a pick-and-place package. A positive lock prevents the connector from accidentally un-mating and helps ensure the uninterrupted power required by data centres. The UltraWize power connectors offer a UL 94V-0 flammability rating and feature an operating temperature range of -40°C to 125°C.
