  • New Product – Mouser Now Shipping Microchip’s WBZ350 RF-Ready Multi-Protocol MCU Modules, Accelerating Time to Market for Wireless Applications

Mouser is now stocking the WBZ350 RF-ready multi-protocol modules from Microchip Technology. The WBZ350 modules, part of the PIC32CX-BZ family, are secure 32-bit microcontrollers with integrated Bluetooth® and Zigbee® wireless capabilities. These modules feature a 64MHz Arm® Cortex® M4F processor that balances performance with energy efficiency. Two versions of the modules are available: the WBZ350PE with an onboard antenna and the WBZ350UE with a U.FL connector for an external antenna. Both versions simplify the process of adding wireless capabilities to applications, saving time and reducing RF-design costs. The WBZ350 MCU modules are also pre-certified in Europe, the U.S., Canada, China, Taiwan, Japan, and Korea, further accelerating time to market and ensuring compliance across major markets. The WBZ350 modules protect applications with hardware-based security, as NIST-compliant authentication and secure boot ROM ensure only trusted software is able to run. Robust analogue peripherals facilitate versatile sensor integration and analogue management across a wide range of applications. The WBZ350 MCU modules are built on the MPLAB® Harmony® v3 framework for fast and simple development. The RF-ready modules are designed for applications that require reliable wireless connectivity, including IoT devices for smart factories and process automation, home automation and smart lighting systems, health and fitness wearables with wireless data control, and building automation.

  • New Product – Mouser Now Stocking MYIR Tech’s MYC-LR3568 System-On-Modules Powered by Rockchip RK3568 Processor

Mouser is now stocking the MYC-LR3568 system-on-modules (SoMs) from MYIR Tech. The MYC-LR3568 SoMs are designed around the high-performance, low-power quad-core Arm® Cortex®-A55 processor RK3568 from Rockchip. These SoMs integrate four power-efficient Arm Cortex-A55 cores, a 3D GPU, and a 1TOPS NPU. The modules’ memory configuration includes 2 GBytes of LPDDR4 RAM, 16 GBytes of eMMC Flash, and 32 KBytes of EEPROM. The MYC-LR3568 SoMs offer a range of peripheral and I/O signals through a 381-pin expansion interface with an LGA package. The SoMs support various video codecs, including 4K 60fps H.265/H.264/VP9 decoding and 1080P 60fps H.265/H.264 encoding, ensuring high-quality video playback and recording. The MYC-LR3568 SoMs support a working temperature range of -40ºC to 85ºC (industrial grade) or -20ºC to 70ºC (extended). The system-on-modules are compatible with Linux and Debian operating systems. These cost-effective modules deliver reliable and efficient performance in personal mobile internet devices, Internet of Things (IoT) gateways, industrial control, and facial recognition systems. The MYIR Tech MYC-LR3568 development boards, also available from Mouser, offer a complete evaluation and prototyping platform for the MYC-LR3568 SoMs.

  • New Product – Mouser Now Offering TE Connectivity’s BESS Stacked Hybrid Connectors, Enabling Flexible and Secure Connections

Mouser is now stocking the BESS stacked hybrid connectors from TE Connectivity. These connectors feature a hybrid design for safe, reliable, and flexible connections. These hybrid connectors are designed using an improved electrical conductive material that provides excellent thermal conductive efficiency and low-temperature rise performance. Integrating multiple power and signal pins, the connectors deliver reliable connectivity in systems with varying electrical requirements. These stacked hybrid connectors feature a floating design that automatically corrects the position within a ±2.4mm circle for a secure and safe connection. The connectors also provide contact insertion with ≥5mm overlap. These hybrid connectors offer gold plating and anti-corrosion screws with 120 hours of salt spray resistance, suitable for use in harsh environments. The connectors have an operating temperature range of -40°C to +125°C. These connectors support up to 500 mating cycles and are UL 4128, TUV, CE, and RoHS compliant. These stacked hybrid connectors are ideal for battery energy storage system (BESS) applications, including solar inverters, power conversion systems, battery management systems, and electric vehicle (EV) charging.
