- New Product – Mouser Now Stocking u-blox LEXI-R10 LTE Cat 1bis Modules for IoT Applications
Mouser is now shipping the LEXI-R10 LTE Cat 1bis IoT modules from u-blox. The LEXI-R10 is an ultra-small LTE Cat 1bis IoT module based on the Qualcomm QCX216 platform for size-constrained designs like wearables, asset tracking, transport, logistics, healthcare, smart meters, smart cities, micro-mobility and sensor network applications. The modules were developed specifically to support IoT applications and are ideally suited for a wide range of value-oriented applications that require medium data speed and superior coverage. Introduced within 3GPP Release 13, Cat 1bis uses existing LTE networks but operates with a single antenna. Cat 1bis uses the same infrastructure and standards as LTE Cat 1, so there is no need to introduce new technology or development approaches. An embedded Wi-Fi radio scans hotspots for indoor locations and supports the u-blox CellLocate® positioning service. The LEXI-R10 features medium-capacity data connectivity with very low energy consumption. The LEXI-R10 series modules support multiple bands and come in multiple variants, including the LEXI-R10001D for global use. This variant comes with an optional eSIM for cellular network connectivity, a comprehensive set of supported bands and all relevant regulatory and MNO certifications. LEXI-R10801D for the EMEA region comes with necessary regulatory approvals such as RED, NCC, RCM, and Anatel. Mouser also stocks the u-blox R10401D adapter boards and evaluation kits.

- New Product – Mouser Now Offering AMD Versal AI Edge VEK280 Evaluation Kit for AI and Machine Learning Applications
Mouser is now shipping AMD’s new Versal™ AI Edge VEK280 evaluation kit. This evaluation kit features the AMD Versal AI Edge VE2802 Adaptive SoC. The Versal™ AI Edge VEK280 enables the evaluation and development of the Versal™ AI Edge series-based applications with various high-speed connectivity options and hardware acceleration engines for AI Engine-Machine Learning (AIE-ML) and DSP. The VEK280 board offers reduced latency, enhanced compute performance, and increased integration for advanced sensor fusion and AI algorithms using a scalable device portfolio catering to different performance and power requirements from edge to endpoint. The VEK280 board features 12 GB (6x 2 GB, 32-bit), 192-bit LPDDR4 component with an integrated video decoder unit that supports H.264/H.265 and HDMI 2.1 video input and output. The VEK280 is not intended to be used in volume production and does not necessarily fulfil complete reliability and production qualification. The Versal AI Edge series allows developers to rapidly evolve their sensor fusion and artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms for machine learning (ML) interference applications in industrial, vision, healthcare, automotive, and scientific fields.

- New Product – Mouser Now Shipping Infineon Technologies’ PASCO2V15 XENSIV PAS CO2 5V Sensor, Accurately Measuring CO2 Levels
Mouser is now offering the PASCO2V15 XENSIV™ PAS CO2 5V Sensor from Infineon Technologies. The XENSIV™ PAS CO2 5V Sensor uses photoacoustic spectroscopy to measure carbon dioxide (CO2) levels accurately. This sensor consistently provides high-quality data and meets the WELL™ building standard performance requirements. Delivered in a 14 x 13.8 x 7.5 mm3 module, the sensor is four times smaller and three times lighter than NDIR equivalents. The miniature size is ideal for air purifiers, thermostats, and other smart home and Internet of Things (IoT) devices. The SMD package, in tape and reel format, simplifies assembly in high-speed, high-volume manufacturing. The sensor includes a dedicated microcontroller to run advanced compensation algorithms and provide accurate readings: ±50 ppm ±5% between 400 and 3,000 ppm. The sensor is dust-resistant and maintenance-free for convenient long-term monitoring. Three interface options are available: UART, I2C, and PWM. The sensor improves comfort and energy efficiency while reducing utility costs and helps achieve optimal indoor air quality when integrated into HVAC systems, smart home and building devices, and smart agriculture.

- New Product – Mouser Now Shipping Texas Instruments DP83TG721-Q1 1000Base-T1 Ethernet PHY Transceiver for Automotive, Audio, Video and Telematics Applications
Mouser is now stocking the new DP83TG721-Q1 1000Base-T1 Ethernet PHY transceiver from Texas Instruments. The DP83TG721-Q1 is an IEEE 802.3bp and Open Alliance transceiver that provides all physical layer functions needed to receive and transmit data over unshielded/shielded single twisted-pair cables for telematics, audio/video bridging and automotive advanced driver assistance (ADAS), LIDAR and RADAR applications. This transceiver offers xMII flexibility with support for RGMII and SGMII MAC interfaces and supports the OA TC10 low-power sleep feature (with wake forwarding) to reduce system power consumption when communication is not required. The DP83TG721-Q1 integrates IEEE 1588v2/802.1AS hardware time stamping and fractional phase-locked loop (PLL), enabling highly accurate time and frequency/phase synchronisation of the Wall Clock, eliminating the need for an external voltage-controlled crystal oscillator (VCXO), while generating a wide range of time-synchronised frequencies needed for audio, video, and other advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) applications. The DP83TG721-Q1 is also compatible with TI’s 100BASE-T1 and 1000BASE-T1 PHYs, enabling design scalability with a single board for both speeds. This device offers a diagnostic tool kit with an extensive list of real-time monitoring tools, debug tools and test modes.
