- New Product – Mouser Now Stocking Molex’s Micro-Fit+ PCIe 5.0 Connectors, Offering High Current Capabilities in Space-Constrained Applications
Mouser is now offering the Micro-Fit+ PCIe 5.0 connectors from Molex. These connectors provide hybrid power and signal integration in a compact design, making them ideal for high-current, space-constrained applications in the automotive, medical, consumer, telecommunications and networking industries. These connectors fully comply with the latest PCIe CEM 5.0/6.0 specifications and safely support devices requiring ampere interrupting capacities (AIC) of up to 675W. The PCIe connectors support 9.5 amps per pin across twelve energised power pins and four sideband signal pins. Their durable design, which features fully isolated cavities to protect the terminals from damage, is bolstered by high-performance materials such as high-current copper alloy, liquid crystal polymer, tin plating and phosphorous bronze. With the fifth generation PCIe delivering data transfer rates of up to 32 Gigatransfers per second (GT/s), approximately double that of the previous generation, Micro-Fit+ PCIe 5.0 connectors operate with a low-level 5 mΩ power terminal and 20mΩ signal terminal contact resistance. Positive locking and low thumb hatch operation ensure secure mating and retention for reliable performance and safety. In addition, the connectors offer the modularity required for flexible system implementation and adaptation.

- New Product – Mouser Now Shipping Melexis MLX90834 Triphibian MEMS Absolute Pressure Sensor for Auto and EV Thermal Management Apps
Mouser is now stocking the MLX90834 Triphibian™ absolute pressure sensor from Melexis. Expanding upon the company’s highly comprehensive family of MLX9083x Triphibian™ pressure sensors, the MLX90834 delivers a flexible, robust factory-calibrated MEMS solution. The MLX90834 sensor integrates a sensor readout circuit, digital hardware, voltage regulators, and digital output drivers. Piezo-resistive elements are implanted into the membrane to create a Wheatstone bridge that generates an input signal, which in turn is amplified and converted into a digital format. This sensor’s robust design helps avoid any pressure differential between a glass pedestal and the wire bonding side (as in rear-side exposed solutions), allowing the device to survive in frozen media conditions due to superb pressure equalisation. Utilising the optional input for external NTC thermistors and interfacing with the provided factory calibration of the sensor, the MLX90834 can achieve accuracy better than ±1°C in extended temperature ranges. The sensor is well suited for applications requiring absolute pressures from 2 to 70 bar (with gas or liquid media), HVAC-R systems, transmission oil monitoring, engine oil monitoring and the thermal management of electric vehicles (EVs), including standalone sensors, embedded sensors in smart expansion valves, embedded sensors in e-compressors, and embedded sensors in pumps.
