  • New Product – Mouser Now Offering Analog Devices AD-GMSL2ETH-SL Edge Compute Platform, Supporting Machine Vision in Autonomous Robots and Vehicles

Mouser is now shipping the AD-GMSL2ETH-SL edge compute platform from Analog Devices, Inc. (ADI). The advanced single-board computer (SBC) enables low-latency data transfer from eight Gigabit Multimedia Serial LinkTM (GMSL) interfaces to a 10Gb Ethernet link. The AD-GMSL2ETH-SL is designed for machine vision and real-time sensor fusion in applications, including autonomous robots and vehicles. This edge compute platform features two MAX96724 Quad Tunneling GMSL2/1 to CSI-2 deserialisers, enabling connectivity with eight GMSL cameras. Each camera supports up to 6 Gbps per channel. Video data is transferred from the MAX96724 deserialisers to an AMD KV26 System on Module (SOM) via MIPI CSI2 interfaces. The SOM aggregates video data from all eight GMSL cameras into a 10Gb Ethernet link, ready to be sent to a central processing unit. The AD-GMSL2ETH-SL supports IEEE 1588 Precision Time Protocol (PTP) with hardware timestamping for accurate synchronisation with host systems and other edge devices, while a web-based user interface is available for system configuration and control. This user interface allows users to adjust parameters for camera control and trigger PTP synchronisation, general-purpose I/O (GPIO) configuration, and visualise system diagnostics. The edge compute platform also features an embedded graphic user interface (GUI) for easy integration, an ideal feature for complex systems such as robotics. The platform is accompanied by an open-source software stack, FPGA design, and reference applications, allowing designers to quickly begin software development based on a proven implementation. The AD-GMSL2ETH-SL is ROS2 compliant.

  • New Product – Mouser Now Stocking Nordic Semiconductor’s nRF54L15-DK Development Kit, Enabling Rapid Prototyping of Wireless Devices

Mouser is now offering the nRF54L15-DK development kit from Nordic Semiconductor. The nRF54L15-DK is a pre-certified single-board evaluation and prototyping platform based on Nordic’s new nRF54L Bluetooth® Low Energy (BLE) system-on-chip (SoC). With the onboard NRF54L system-on-chip (SoC), the nRF54L15-DK supports BLE, Bluetooth Mesh, Thread, Zigbee®, 2.4GHz proprietary protocols (up to 4Mbps), and Matter. The nRF54L15-DK is supported by a comprehensive set of nRF Connect tools and has support in the nRF Connect software development kit (SDK). Developers can explore the full potential of the nRF54L15 SoC using the extensive range of software samples, modules, and libraries available within the nRF Connect SDK. The nRF54L15-DK also features 8 MB of external memory, an onboard nPM1300 power management IC (PMIC), 2.4GHz and NFC antennas, a SEGGER J-Link OB programmer/debugger and a USB connection for debugging, programming, and power. Pins are available for measuring power consumption, and an SWF RF connector enables direct RF measurements. The nRF54L15-DK is an ideal solution for a variety of wireless applications, including Industrial Internet of Things (IoT), virtual and augmented reality (AR/VR), asset tracking, smart home products, and medical applications.
