  • New Product – NXP Semiconductors FRDM-IMX93 Development Board, Now Available to Order at Mouser, Supports Industrial and IoT Applications

Mouser is now offering the FRDM i.MX 93 development board from NXP® Semiconductors. This development board is based on the NXP i.MX 93 applications processor and is designed to enable rapid prototyping of a variety of applications, including industrial automation, smart home and smart cities, IoT, contactless HMI, healthcare and more. The i.MX 93 applications processor includes dual Arm® Cortex®-A55 processors with speeds up to 1.7 GHz along with a neural processing unit (NPU) that accelerates machine learning inference. A general-purpose Arm Cortex-M33 running up to 250 MHz provides real-time and low-power processing. The FRDM i.MX 93 development board, now available to order from Mouser, features the u-blox MAYA-W276 module, providing a Tri-Radio solution with Wi-Fi® 6, Bluetooth® 5.4 and IEEE 802.15.4 wireless connectivity. This development board includes an HDMI display interface, 2 GB of LPDDR4/LPDDR4X memory, 32 GB of eMMC storage for quick boot times, and an onboard PCA9451A power management IC (PMIC). The development board also features a wide range of expansion capabilities, including multiple camera interfaces, USB Type-C and Type-A, 10/100/1000 Mbit/s RGMII Ethernet, and CAN-FD. A 40-pin dual-row pin header is also provided for I2S, UART, I2C, and GPIO expansion. The board offers two independent debug interfaces, a serial wire debug (SWD) header and a USB-to-Dual UART debug port.

  • New Product – Mouser Now Shipping Molex’s MX-DaSH Wire-to-Wire Connector System for Compact Connectivity in Vehicle Applications

Mouser is now stocking the MX-DaSH wire-to-wire connector system from Molex. The MX-DaSH connector system combines power, ground circuit, and high-speed data connectivity in a single connector system. The MX-DaSH is a unified solution for compact connectivity in electronic control unit (ECU) controllers and computers. The MX-DaSH connector system replaces multiple traditional connectors in in-vehicle applications, saving space and reducing the cost and complexity of wiring harnesses. The MX-DaSH series offers configurations to support different power and signal terminal sizes, including 1.20mm, 1.50mm, and 2.80mm, suitable for a wide range of vehicle designs and applications. This connector system offers up to 31 circuits with high-speed FAKRA Mini (HFM®) modules for high-speed data transmission. The MX-DaSH connectors operate reliably in harsh environments and provide secure mating via industry-leading independent secondary lock (ISL), pin protection plate (PPP), and blade protections. Automated assembly reduces cycle times, prevents errors, and improves overall manufacturing process efficiency. The MX-DaSH series supports the transition to zonal architecture in automotive and commercial applications, including autonomous driving modules, computing modules, high-speed cable networking, sensor-device connectivity, high-resolution 4k displays, GPS devices, and infotainment systems.

  • New Product – Mouser Now Stocking New Texas Instruments DLPC8445/DLPC8445V Digital Display Controllers for Digital Display Applications

Mouser is now shipping the DLPC8445/DLPC8445V digital display controllers from Texas Instruments. These display controllers enable the smallest, fastest and lowest-power 4K ultra-high-definition (UHD) projectors ever, with diagonal displays over 100 inches, for mobile smart TV, laser TV, mobile projector, and digital display applications. The DLPC8445/DLPC8445V digital display controllers are part of the TI DLP Products 4K UHD display chipsets. The chipset is comprised of the display controller (DLPC8445 / DLPC8445V), the DLP472TP digital micromirror device (DMD), and the DLPA3085 or DLPA3082 power management integrated circuit (PMIC). With 4K UHD up to 60Hz, 1080p up to 240Hz (2D), and 3D up to 120Hz, the DLPC8445 offers versatility with a single V-by-One® HS video input port with one, two, four, or eight lanes. For reliable operation, the DLPC8445 or DLPC8445V display controller must be used with the DLP472TP DMD and the DLPA3085 or DLPA3082 PMIC per application. With the DLPC8445/DLPC8445V digital display controllers, access to high-resolution television and gaming displays from compact projectors is a reality. Delivering up to 600 MHz pixel clock support, the DLPC8445 display controller meets high-resolution system requirements in a super-small form factor.
