- New Product – Mouser Now Shipping New Raspberry Pi Compute Module 5 for AI and Embedded Applications
Mouser is now stocking the new Compute Module 5 (CM5) from Raspberry Pi. This product is an enhanced system-on-module (SoM) that directly addresses industrial requirements while maintaining mechanical compatibility with its predecessor. The CM5 features a BCM2712 quad-core Cortex® -A76 (Arm® v8) 64-bit system-on-chip (SoC) with a VideoCore VII GPU and support for OpenGL ES 3.1 and Vulkan 1.3., dual 4Kp60 HDMI display output. Plus, there’s an optional onboard dual-band Wi-Fi module based on the Cypress CYW43455 (which supports 2.4GHz and 5GHz IEEE 802.11 b/g/n/ac wireless), Bluetooth® 5.0 and BLE, and two USB 3.0 interfaces supporting simultaneous 5Gbps operation. These modules also support two 4-lane MIPI interfaces, where each MIPI interface can either be DSI (Display) or CSI (Camera). The CM5 is available with multiple eMMC storage densities (from 0GB (Lite) to 64GB), DRAM densities (2GB, 4GB, 8GB, and 16GB), and wireless and non-wireless variants. The CM5 features a 4kp60 HEVC decoder, Gigabit Ethernet PHY supporting IEEE 1588, and a USB 2.0 port (high speed). The modules include a single 5V PSU input that supports USB PD for up to 5A at 5V. The CM5 adds improved capabilities for AI, machine vision, industrial automation, smart homes, healthcare monitoring and other embedded applications. - New Product – Mouser Now Stocking Apogee Semiconductor’s Radiation-Hardened Low Earth Orbit A-Grade ICs, Enabling Space and Medical Applications
Mouser is now stocking radiation-hardened Low Earth Orbit (LEO) A-Grade ICs from Apogee Semiconductor. These ICs include logic devices, level translators, transceivers and more. These devices are fabricated in a 180nm CMOS process utilising proprietary radiation-hardening techniques, allowing high resiliency to single-event effects (SEE) and to a total ionising dose (TID) up to 30krad (Si). These features make them ideal for small satellites and LEO constellations that require high performance, a small form factor and radiation resilience at a lower cost, as well as other applications where resistance to radiation is vital, such as medical imagining. The AP54RHC288 radiation-hardened, dual-input arbiters protect critical applications by ensuring that only one output is high on each channel, regardless of the signal state at the inputs. The AP54RHC86 radiation-hardened, quad 2-input XOR gates feature built-in triple redundancy for enhanced reliability and logic-level down translation to VCC. The AP54RHC04 radiation-hardened hex inverter, available to order, features proprietary cold-sparing capability with zero static power penalty and built-in triple redundancy for improved reliability. The AP54RHC164 radiation-hardened serial in parallel out (SIPO) shift registers include a proprietary output stage that allows for cold-sparing configurations as it avoids a leakage current penalty on inputs and outputs while in a power-down state. These devices are also suitable for aerospace, energy, and other applications that involve harsh environments.

- New Product – Mouser Delivers New Renesas Electronics RZ/T2H 9-Axis Motion Control Microprocessors for Industrial Robotics and Motion Control Applications
Mouser is now shipping the RZ/T2H 9-axis motion control microprocessors from Renesas Electronics. The RZ/T2H series is the industry’s first advanced 9-axis Linux-based microprocessors (MPU), with real-time high-precision motion control and application processing performance for industrial automation, mobile robotics, and motor control applications, all on a single chip. These MPUs feature robust processing power and peripheral functions required for precision controllers packed onto one chip, reducing the number of BOM components, power consumption and board size for industrial robots, motion controllers, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). The RZ/T2H’s Quad Arm® Cortex®-A55 CPU cores (1200MHz) boost application processing with two Arm Cortex-R52 CPU cores (1000MHz), capable of real-time, low-latency precision control for up to 9 axes, as well as network functions compatible with time-sensitive networking (TSN) and various industrial ethernet protocols, such as EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP, and PROFINET RT/IRT. The RZ/T2H is also equipped with a large-capacity memory interface of LPDDR4 and a large-capacity non-volatile memory interface of SD/eMMC, supporting application-rich operating systems and Linux. Two lanes of PCIe Gen3, two channels of xSPI, and other high-speed interfaces are also available. Mouser also stocks the Renesas RZ/T2H evaluation board as a comprehensive tool for evaluating the RZ/T2H microprocessor, ready with all necessary circuits for immediate use.
