  • New Product – Mouser Now Shipping Nordic Semiconductor’s nRF9151 Low-Power SiP for Compact and Reliable IoT Applications

Mouser is now stocking the nRF9151 low-power cellular system-in-package (SiP) from Nordic Semiconductor. The fully integrated, pre-certified SiP delivers unmatched performance and versatility using low-power LTE technology, advanced processing, and robust security features. The nRF9151 SiP integrates a system-on-chip (SoC), built-in power management, and integrated RF front-end into a compact 12 × 11 mm package. The SiP’s multi-mode LTE-M/NB-IoT modem with DECT NR+ support and GNSS ensures global connectivity without regional limitations. Further features include a 64MHz Arm® Cortex®-M33 processor, 256KB of static RAM (SRAM) and 1MB of flash memory, as well as Arm TrustZone® and CryptoCell security technologies. The nRF9151 SiP is 20% smaller than its nRF91 predecessors, allowing designers to develop more compact products without compromising performance. The nRF9151 supports Class 5 20dBm output in addition to Class 3 23dBm, allowing for greater design flexibility. The nRF9151 SiP is specially designed for cellular Internet of Things (IoT) and Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunications (DECT) NR+ applications, including smart sensors, predictive maintenance, and smart agriculture. The nRF9151 Low-Power SiP is supported by the nRF9151-DK development kit.

  • New Product – Mouser Now Stocking TE Connectivity’s 85x1N and 89x1N IoT Wireless Vibration Sensors, Bringing Stability and Longevity to Industrial Condition Monitoring

Mouser is now offering the 85x1N and 89x1N IoT wireless vibration sensors from TE Connectivity. Both versions of the vibration sensor bring exceptional stability and longevity to industrial condition monitoring. These vibration sensors offer a wide bandwidth of up to 10kHz, compared to 4kHz in standard MEMS-based models. The 85x1N series implements Bluetooth® Low Energy, while the 89x1N uses LoRaWAN® technology. The IoT Wireless Vibration Sensors support short- and long-range monitoring and include edge computing, allowing users to configure settings and features as required. Both the 85x1N and 89x1N series provide IP66/67 protection and are designed to support harsh environments. These sensors are certified by ATEX, CE, CSA, FCC, and NEC. These sensors require minimal maintenance with up to ten years of battery life and a high-stability piezoelectric core. Compatible with industrial standard mounting techniques, the vibration sensors are easy to install in existing locations and machinery. These vibration sensors can be used with the TE SensorConnect app for iOS and Android. Lightweight and compact, the wireless vibration sensors slot into tight spaces in applications such as pumping systems, oil and gas equipment monitoring, gearboxes and turbines, and industrial IoT end-to-end platforms.
