  • New Product – Mouser Now Stocking BeagleBoard’s PocketBeagle 2 for Compact Embedded Systems, IoT, and Educational Applications

Mouser is now shipping the PocketBeagle 2 from BeagleBoard. The next-generation PocketBeagle 2 is an ultra-compact, low-cost, powerful single-board computer (SBC) for developers, students, and hobbyists. PocketBeagle 2 offers upgraded performance and features for modern IoT devices, robotics projects, and educational applications. This SBC is a versatile platform for embedded development, whether prototyping or deploying at scale. PocketBeagle 2 is built around the AM6232 system-on-chip (SoC) from Texas Instruments, providing faster, more efficient computing. The SoC features dual 64-bit Arm® Cortex®- A53 cores and a single-core Arm Cortex-M4F Microcontroller Unit (MCU) running at up to 400 MHz with 256 KB SRAM. PocketBeagle 2 also includes a Texas Instruments MSPM0L1105 Arm Cortex-M0+ MCU with 12-bit analogue-to-digital conversion (ADC), 32 KB Flash, and 4 KB SRAM. This SBC is ultra-compact, ideal for devices such as wearables or smart sensors. The refined 3.55 mm female header height ensures greater stability compared to the original PocketBeagle. The PocketBeagle 2 is powered by a USB Type-C® connection or cape-header voltage input pin providing 5V at 1A. Debug support features include a 2-pin 3.3V JST-SH 1.00 mm UART debug port and a 10-pin JTAG TAG-CONNECT footprint. This SBC has one LED indicator for power, one for battery charging, and four user-controllable LEDs. The hardware also includes a LiPo battery charging circuit.

  • New Product – Mouser is Now Shipping HARTING’s Mini PushPull T1 Industrial Connectors for Fast and Efficient SPE Connectivity

Mouser is now offering the Mini PushPull T1 industrial connectors from HARTING. These connectors with a mini PushPull interface meet the IEC 63171-6 standard, providing the ideal mating interface for Single Pair Ethernet (SPE). These industrial connectors enable IP-based communication up to the field level, connecting sensors, actuators, and other field devices to Ethernet networks without barriers. The ability to integrate Ethernet interfaces onto simple sensors, cameras, reading/ID devices, or similar equipment makes it possible to implement Integrated Industry and IIoT. With a single pair of copper wires, the SPE connectors use 75% less wire than standard Ethernet connectors. SPE technology allows for efficient and cost-effective setup, operation, and maintenance, and the connectors are quick to install and easy to use and maintain in common IP-based networks. These connectors support transmission speeds up to 10 Gbit/s (up to 1 Gbit/s panel feed-through), 60V-rated voltage, and 1.5A- or 2A-rated current. The SPE IP65/IP67-rated connectors are fully dustproof, resistant to water jets, and can be temporarily immersed in water up to one meter deep. These industrial connectors are designed to withstand at least 750 mating cycles and have an operating temperature range of -40°C to +70°C. These connectors are designed for automation, robotics, machinery, medical, transportation, railway, and other industrial applications requiring high environmental, shock, and vibration resistance.

  • New Product – Mouser Now Offering Kingston FURY Impact and Beast DDR5 Memory Modules for PC and Gaming Applications

Mouser is now stocking the FURY™ Impact and Beast DDR5 memory modules from Kingston. The FURY™ Impact and Beast DDR5 modules are synchronous DRAM (SDRAM) memory modules for notebooks, PCs, gaming, and small form factor machine applications. The FURY Impact DDR5 modules are 16GB and 32GB DDR5-5600 CL40 SDRAM memory that are Intel® XMP 3.0 certified. These modules are tested to run at DDR5-5600 at a low latency of 40-40-40 at 1.1V, with additional timing parameters available. The Plug-N-Play (PnP) feature offers speed and timing options to support a wide variety of processors and chipsets, with the maximum speed determined by the system’s BIOS. FURY Beast DDR5 memory are DDR5-5600 CL36 SDRAM modules that support AMD® EXPO v1.0 and Intel® XMP 3.0 certified devices. The lineup includes three options: a 1G x 64-bit (8GB) 1Rx16 memory module based on four 1G x 16-bit FBGA components per module; a 2G x 64-bit (16GB) 1Rx8 memory module based on eight 2G x 8-bit FBGA components per module; and a 4G x 64-bit (32GB) DDR5-5600 CL36 SDRAM 2Rx8 memory module based on sixteen 2G x 8-bit FBGA components per module. The FURY Impact and Beast DDR5s arrive with an arsenal of enhanced features, like on-die ECC (ODECC) for improved stability at extreme speeds, dual 32-bit subchannels for increased efficiency, and an on-module power management integrated circuit (PMIC). These modules bring the latest, cutting-edge technology for next-gen gaming and computing platforms, taking speed, capacity and reliability to new performance standards.
