Bode Plot, or measuring the gain and/or phase response as a function of frequency, is becoming more and more a requirement in today’s R&D. In the old days, this was typically a job for a dedicated Vector Network Analyzer, but with today’s inexpensive solutions to Oscilloscopes, this is now available commonly available. Also when evaluating Switch Mode Power Supplies and their stability, the Bode Plot is a “must have” feature.
