The Thundercomm TurboX™ D845 Development Kit is the newest and highest performance platform based on the top-tier Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 845 processor, the Kryo™ 64-bit Octa-Core SoC with 4x 2.8GHz (Gold) and 4x 1.8GHz (Silver) cores. This processor introduces new Qualcomm Hexagon 685 Vector DSP architecture, plus GPU and CPU optimizations.
This Development Kit supports 4K@60fps in HDR, 2 x 16MP or 1 x 32MP cameras, 4K Ultra HD display 60fps and Qualcomm® Secure Processing Unit (SPU). It offers numerous peripheral I/O headers for flexible application, such as 2 x USB2.0, 2 x Ethernet, 1 x Mini PCIe Socket, 1 x CAN, 2 x HDMI Output.
It can be used as the development platform for the Thundercomm TurboX™ D845 SOM, which supports both latest Android and Linux operating systems, latest Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/a/n/ac 2×2 MIMO & BT 5.0 with BLE connectivity and 4GB LPDDR4 / 64GB UFS memory.
It delivers world class camera performance, ultra high definition displays and the trust zone for security, which is widely used in smart phones to unlock functions with face or fingerprint recognition. This makes it an ideal answer for the high computing power required in embedded IoT products and helps developers to create high end applications in fields like medical imaging, smart city, robotics, digital signage and VR and XR.
